The Biscuit’s owners believe that breakfast should be a creative meal, too. Their focus is to make food from scratch with natural, unprocessed ingredients, sourced locally, if possible. Owners Rob and Tracy met while attending the Denver School of Culinary Arts, and later moved to West Michigan.
DeAnna Calanchi, server, holds a favorite of The Biscuit, its Chicken-Apple Hash. The hash contains chicken, sweet peppers, onions, potatoes, bacon, cheese and, of course, apples.
Genuine Southern hospitality radiates through every corner of The Southerner. Savor the taste of the South in breakfast, lunch and dinner options, made from locally sourced ingredients. Popular dishes include fried chicken, grits and greens, and biscuits.
Servers Gaby Castro and Alex Greiner share three favorite breakfast options at The Southerner. Left to right: Chilaquiles Verde, a Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, and Shrimp and Grits.
