You gotta try Hops at 84 East and Old Boy’s Brewhouse

Bar manager Julie DeHaan recommends The Crunch Burger. The new burger is topped with aged cheddar, house-made pickles, grilled red onion, house-fried potato chips and a tangy burger sauce.

     Since 1997, Old Boys’ Brewhouse has produced fine handcrafted ales using fresh ingredients. The brewhouse’s canine theme is in memory of a chocolate Labrador, “Brutus, the snake, Malone,” aka Old Boy.

Owner Melissa Brolick recommends the Brutus Burger, named for Old Boy. The chargrilled beef batty is served with crisp romaine lettuce and tomato, and cheddar, Swiss and bleu cheese on an oatmeal stout bun.
