You gotta try Ryke’s Bakery, Catering & Cafe

The long-standing Muskegon bakery expanded by opening a Grand Haven location in February. In addition to Ryke’s famous butter thin cookies, the bakery offers a variety of other cookies, wraps, paninis, soups, salads, spreads and chips, deli salads, cakes, cupcakes, breads, morning pastries and doughnuts — including gigantic Texas doughnuts.

Decorator Julie Taylor shows a Texas doughnut. The yeast-raised glazed doughnut measures 7 inches across and is a Ryke’s specialty.
