Located on the north side of Holland, Holland Bowl Mill is the largest manufacturer of wooden bowls in the United States, selling products all over the world. The mill has been in operation since 1906, and produces 800 to 1,000 wooden bowls every week.

Aside from producing solid wooden bowls, the mill crafts Michigan-shaped bowls, four-corner bowls, charcuterie boards, utensils, candle holders, grilling planks and now, a new furniture line. The Rowan Collection — available in walnut and cherry — includes an end table, console table, entryway bench and coffee table.

Stop by the renovated retail store and showroom and take a free guided tour — it gives you an inside look at the mill, and allows you to watch artisans transform a log into beautiful wooden bowls.

Howard Miller clocks are a staple in many homes across the nation, but did you know they’ve been made locally in Zeeland since 1926?
