If you’re looking for Insta-worthy milkshakes, the lakeshore has several spots to get your fix. Ice Baby, located at 115 Butler St. in Saugatuck, opened in 2020 and offers mini doughnuts and infused shakes to satisfy sweet cravings. These thick shakes, best eaten with a spoon, include flavors like Thin Mint and Banana Cream Pie.
Bad Habit.
which opened earlier this year at 1307 S. Beacon Boulevard in Grand Haven, offers ultimate milkshakes, specialty floats and mini Dutch pancakes. These shakes are infused with other sweet treats, like cake, cheesecake, Oreo cookies, Twinkies, doughnuts and candied bacon.
Cookie time.
The popular cookie brand, Crumbl Cookies, will make its debut soon at 12377 James St. in The Shops at Westshore in Holland. Founded in 2017 in Logan, Utah, Crumbl Cookies now has more than 370 locations in more than 40 states. Each week, the cookie menu changes, offering four to five different flavors to try from the 200-plus unique flavors in its roster. Flavors have included New York Cheesecake, Waffle, Classic Chocolate Chip and Berries & Cream, just to name a few. Crumbl’s Holland location is slated to open in early June.

Have you heard of Hey Sugar Cotton Candy Co.? Located at 1925 Lakeshore Drive in Muskegon, the Hey Sugar storefront, which opened in 2020, sells cotton candy made with organic cane sugar — and it’s free of added artificial dyes. With fun flavors like Chai Tea Latte, Marshmallow Peep, French Toast and Tropical Punch, Hey Sugar makes a fun treat. You can also find Hey Sugar at local markets and events, and you can even hire Hey Sugar to cater your celebration. Hey Sugar products can also be purchased from its website.

Ludington’s iconic House of Flavors, known for its array of ice creams, plans to open a new location in Zeeland at 405 Centerstone Court. The menu will solely focus on homemade ice cream, waffle cones, old-fashioned ice cream soda and other ice cream drinks.
