Strike Up Some Fun
Socibowl brings duckpin bowling, great food, and nonstop fun to downtown Muskegon.
Family outing, date night, group event: Pigeon Hill has all the bases covered at Socibowl in the heart of downtown Muskegon. Kitty-corner to the Trinity Health Arena, this inventive combination of a bowling alley, arcade, bar, restaurant, and backyard game night is just what Muskegon needed.
After being greeted by the welcoming and energetic staff, we headed over to one of Socibowl’s unmissable highlights: Duckpin Bowling. This miniature version of traditional 10-pin bowling keeps the action moving with little downtime. Reserving a lane requires picking a time block (between 30 minutes to two hours) on Socibowl’s website or at the bar upon arrival. With drinks and food delivered directly to your bowling lane, duckpin bowling is an easy recommendation for any group.
After the excitement of duckpin bowling, we settled into the restaurant for dinner and drinks. Their seasonally rotating menu offers a variety of American classics alongside creative twists on familiar favorites. The Honey-Butter Biscuit Shrimp immediately won me over. The crispy and buttery coating around the shrimp was perfectly matched by some of Muskegon’s best fries. Their Muskegon Melt was equally delicious with cheese spilling over the edges and a flavor that would be hard to beat.
After refueling, we tried out a variety of other entertainment. Free darts and yard games paired perfectly with two signature drinks. The arcade sparked feelings of nostalgia as we played both classic vintage and modern games.
To end our night on an even sweeter note, we ordered the Guava Empanadas and Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels. The empanadas were unique and downright delicious. The pretzels, sourced from Spring Lake’s Village Baker, were predictably incredible.
A visit to Socibowl is sure to leave you with smiles, laughs, and memories. With exceptional food, creative drinks, and entertainment for every age, Socibowl has earned its place as one of West Michigan’s must-visit destinations.
