In February, I went out to Mizu Sushi in downtown Holland for lunch with a friend, and I was not disappointed. An avid sushi fan, I was really excited to check this place out.
It was super cozy on the inside, which was fitting for it being a snowy afternoon. To really indulge in that comfy vibe, my friend and I ordered some miso soup and split a pot of hot green tea.
For lunch, I tried the Red Dragon roll, which comes with shrimp tempura, crab stick, cucumber wrapped with tuna, spicy sauce and spicy mayo. First, I loved how bright and colorful the plate was. Second, I loved how it tasted even more. The ingredients were fresh, and the added spice was the right amount of heat.
Aside from sushi, Mizu offers a variety of authentic Asian dishes, including ramen, curry, gyoza, bibimbap and udon.
Whether you’re a major sushi fan like myself or are new to the wonderful world of fresh fish, Mizu Sushi has something for everyone.
