The mother-and-daughter team of Julie Gomez (mom and pastry chef) and Michelle TenBrink (daughter and lunch chef) opened the farm-to-table bake shop and lunch cafe in 2005.
Julie recommends the peach coconut streusel pie. All pies are seasonal and handmade with fresh local fruit. Fall pies include apple, pumpkin and pear.
“In the spring, we go crazy with rhubarb and strawberry pie,” Gomez said.
Cherry, peach and blueberry pie are baked in the summer.

Established in 2013, The Farmhouse offers traditional favorites and new and bold entrees.
Server Heidi Mesbergen recommends the fresh blueberry pie.
Baker Jan Becksvoort prepares four or five different pies a day. Dutch apple and coconut crème are joined by specialty pies like fresh blueberry, pumpkin and banana crème. She also likes to mix flavors in her pies, such as cranberry-apple, blueberry-peach and strawberry-rhubarb.
