When I was strolling through Saugatuck back in June, I stopped into Tree of Life Juice for a quick pick-me-up, and I’m really glad I did. Tree of Life Juice specializes in cold-pressed juices and wellness shots, and it also offers a great variety of handcrafted, vegan smoothies made with all-natural, fresh ingredients.

You can also get supplements including probiotics, trace minerals, omega-3, spirulina and collagen protein peptides. I tried a few different things when I went in: an acai bowl, a berry smoothie, an immunity shot — made with apple, ginger, cayenne, lemon and turmeric — and the Popeye cold-pressed juice, which included green apple, spinach, romaine, kale, cucumber, lemon, ginger and spirulina. 

Everything was so fresh and the staff was really friendly; it’s a great local spot to find healthier options when you’re out and about.
